Photography Competition - Submit by March 11th!

Briscoe Library's 5th Annual Photography Competition is now open for submissions! Briscoe Library’s reimagined Photography Competition focuses on images that illustrate the experience of living through the COVID-19 pandemic over the past two years. This is an opportunity for UT Health students, faculty, and staff from all five schools to capture, share, and present their personal experience in one image. This competition and its accompanying exhibition showcase the UT Health community’s creative visual conceptualizations of being an integral part of the health science community during a pandemic. Click here for more info: library.uthscsa.edu/photocomp

Dates:

Submission opens: January 1, 2022
Submission deadline: March 11, 2022
Announcement of the winners will occur at the beginning of April.

Awards:

First Place: $500
Second Place: $400
Third Place: $300
Fourth Place: $200

Library Feature of the Month: Vending Machines

Briscoe Library is focused on being the space where students can come to learn, study, or relax 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. And what's more conducive to studying than access 24/7 access to fresh food and coffee?! Briscoe Library's three vending machines located on the 3rd floor provide students, faculty, and staff with fresh food, snacks, and hot coffee any hour of the day or night.
