Editing 3D Models with Meshmixer

This guide will teach basic editing of 3D models using Meshmixer.

Transform/Rotate the model using the Transform tool

Tool Used: Transform

The Transform tool allows you to move, rotate, resize, and scale your model.

To use the Transform tool:

  • Click on the Edit menu
  • Choose the Transform tool
  • Click and drag the colored arrows to move the model up, down, and side to side
  • Click and drag the colored arches to rotate the model along a central point
  • Click and drag the colored triangles to move the model diagonally
  • Click and drag the white box in the center to manually resize the model
  • Click and drag the colored boxes to stretch the model along one side
  • Click Accept, once finished
