If the installation is on a Mac, your macOS device must be enrolled in Intune.
If working remotely, you must be connected to the VPN for the installation process to complete.
Click File then New...

Choose a location then click Save
We recommend saving your library to the default location recommended by EndNote
Usually Documents/My Documents
Saving to a cloud drive can cause issues later
Look to your menu bar at the top left of your screen for the File menu (as shown above).
If you do not see the EndNote File menu, double check that EndNote is open by clicking the EndNote icon on the dock then look for the File menu again.
If EndNote is not in your dock then you will need to open EndNote from Launchpad or the Applications folder.
