Library Access for Adjunct Faculty

If you are Adjunct or Clinical Faculty and have a network ID and password and badge, you will have seamless access to library resources. However, if you are Adjunct or Clinical Faculty and DO NOT HAVE a network ID and password or badge, you will need to go through a couple of additional steps.

Access to Electronic Resources

In order to access online resources remotely you must:

  1. Email a copy of your appointment letter to askalibrarian@uthscsa.edu
  2. Create a library account at https://briscoe.uthscsa.edu/ (click on Register)

Our library staff will reply directly to your email with a unique username and password

When visiting resources, log into the library's homepage using the "Adjunct Faculty & All Other Users" link (see image below)

NOTE: Your access will expire annually on 8/31, at the end of the fiscal year. When you receive your new appointment letter, you will need to resubmit for renewed access following the process above.

Access to the Library Building

If you do not have a UT Health San Antonio badge, you will not be able to access the library building. Should you need to use the library space, please reach out to me or another member of library staff via chat, email (askalibrarian@uthscsa.edu) or phone (210-567-2450). We can:

  • Reserve a study room or meeting room
  • Provide a tour of the space
  • Meet you at the door during regular business hours to allow entry to the building
